Wing Wah Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Orange

Myself daughter and 2 grandchildren have just been to this restaurant I use the word loosely not a great experience we were the only people in the restaurant ordered our food another 4 people sat down about 15 minutes after us our mini rolls ok take away was starting to get a little busy we ordered 4 dishes and fried rice got a honey chicken after 15 minutes later the rice another 15 minutes next dish 30 minutes later a steamed rice no dish just the rice by this time 4 tables were waiting 2 tables of 4 left didn't get served waiting maybe 30 minutes our next dish finally arrived we asked for the final dish as takeaway seems like they were only interested in doing takeaway tonight had to give 1 star they didn't really deserve that but couldn't leave none worst chinese ever looking at the salt and pepper calamari going...

My wife and I dined there a few months back. Restaurant was recommended to us. I now know why. At 77 years of age I have dined in numerous Chinese Restaurants, including "China Town" in Sydney, and I must say the meal we enjoyed here was THE BEST Chinese food I have ever tasted. The staff - excellent. Prices - excellent. I don't make these claims idly. No charge for corkage. From memory we had - Special Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, King Prawn Chow Mein, Lemon Chicken, and a Seshuan dish. Next time in Orange, I know where we'll eat!! God bless. We will never order from this restaurant again. Rang at 7pm on a Sunday to order. The girl told me a 30 minute wait. Went back to pick it up and told by the girl to come back much later as it hadn’t been started yet. By 8pm we were still waiting. Ended up getting our order around 8.30pm. Rice was disgusting and stuck together, like boiled rice not fried. The other dishes were thrown together quickly and not really edible. I would have walked out if I hadn’t already paid.
