Parkes Coffee Pot — Restaurant in Parkes

Waited almost an hour for food to be served. I am forgiving of it being busy, but the wait was unacceptable, considering there was not enough space for my daughters and I to sit inside, so waited outside in the middle of winter! When I went in to query the arrival, being told is almost done, half the food arrived (wedges and a hash brown) and still had to wait for the open grill, half, chicken cheese avocado. When it came it was Luke warm at best, and on a slice of toast with the edges cut off because it was burnt. They offered a refund which I declined, but I really should have accepted as it was 8.50 for the burnt toast alone and almost $20 for entire meal. The photos make it look better than it was. Whenever we return to Parkes, we always have at least 1 catch-up here. The food is always spot on and very well priced. The service is always friendly and efficient. We always bump into people we haven't seen for a while here. So it is the perfect place. There is extra undercover seating out the front (weather permitting), extra seating in a side room, toilets and plenty of parking out the back with a rear entrance.
