Roasted Kombi — Restaurant in Parkes

Pleasantly surprised by the lovely food and very generous portions. Player-1 had Lamb Loaded Fries (was yummy & could easily feed 3 ppl). I had the BALT Turkish Toastie (I could only finish 1/2). Player-2 had the All-Day Breakfast Roll (the overall winner, with loaded delish bacon, a giant egg on a giant bun. It was so flavoursome).

Player-2 had a Choc Coffee Frappé (tastes as good as it looks) & I had a Chai Latte (so yummy). The overall winner was my Chai Latte which had just enough Cinnamon sprinkled on the milk froth to make it taste like I was drinking a dreamy pancake. It was really really good popping in here for a quick bite. The decor is soooo cute (love the Kombi tissue boxes on each table - fyi the wheels work)😍 The staff are really friendly & welcoming. The service was fast. The choice of music was relaxing. I would have scored the atmosphere higher but the bothersome flies was off-putting & distracting (such a pity). Terrible service!

I recently attempted to buy two regular takeaway coffees. I was visiting Parkes and this cafe looked friendly enough. I joined the queue with only two people in front of me. Fifteen minutes later I placed my order. The staff were friendly and chatty, with each other, but dismissive and annoyed at having customers. I heard mention of a mucked up order on one of the tables. I had an important appointment to make and had invested too much time, so I placed the order and hoped for the best. 2 x regular no fuss coffees. $10! I stood back to wait. About 15 minutes later I wandered back to the window to inquire on timing. They told me at least another 10 minutes. I said I had been waiting half an hour now and had an appointment to get to. The lady gave me a spray about being busy with Christmas and said that's the way it is.

I walked away to my appointment. $10 poorer. No coffee.

This is by far the worst cafe experience I have had in a very long time. I would avoid this place...

During my visit, I encountered an exceptionally poor service experience. The individual who appeared to be in the care of an aged care facility was, in fact, the owner. He vehemently criticized me for leaving a negative review, which I had expressed in person. Additionally, a young boy, who appeared to be approximately twelve years old and was accompanied by his friends, intentionally threw a glass bottle at the bottom of my car and they were chanting Lindsay.
