The Beach Bakery on King — Restaurant in Port Lincoln

Horrible service. Very bad staff attitude. Asked for no.meat food but was still served with meat. When spoke to the counter girl she was insensitive and started laughing. Even the owner was insensitive and tried to downplay it by saying the staff is new, but showed her insensitivity to our concerns. Tried other stuff but horrible food. Coffee too was served cold after a long wait. Had gone there reading all these reviews but it turned out to be a big disappointment.

Further to above the owner in her below response has chosen to misrepresent the facts by ignoring the issue of cold coffee being served, has claimed her innocence in making fun but I never said she laughed, I always stated that her staff was insensitive after feeding meat, she laughed at me. She even went to the extent of stating that I was agressive, well thats one mistake, I would never do as looking at their attitude they would just wait for a chance to shrug some one off for that. In fact it was oyher way round, Secondly she states that we never tried her food, Wow !! Does water or coffee contain meat. 3 items were ordered tried out and hence the bill of 43 $ was paid.. Looking at her response, would she even care to let any agressive person continue in her cafe.

Lastly as oer her below and her conversation, she had untrained staff in their 2nd or 3rd shifts handling food, and that her pride of serving 600 customers daily that tells the story of their attitude and their we dont care type attitude and the response itself shows how.much empathy they have towards their aggrieved...

Terrible service. You can feel the bad vibes as you walk in. It felt like the manager lady was upset and taking it out on the customers and other staff. Empty restaurant and they could not be bothered to put our coffees in ceramic, even after offering to do so when ordering. "Sorry I forgot, we don't do this on the weekend", then proceeded to refuse to give my wife a plate despite there being a stack of plates on the counter. If this place wasn't in a country town it would be out of business within a week. The manager lady seemed like the root of the bad service.
