Oil tasted a bit old and my order was repeatedly interrupted by the woman taking the orders here. The fish did taste fresh but was sitting in a sea of oil. The paper around the fish was suitable for lighting fires afterwards. I would suggest menu to be placed behind and above the counter so customers don’t need to be barked at, as to where the chip sizes are shown (right hand wall). I would also suggest hearing a customer out before interjecting comments about what size a fish is. My partner brought me home the “dinner for two with flat head” We were very disappointed, after reading so many great review we decided to try it. We only live an 8 minute drive away and my partner can straight home with the Oder after it was made. The fish was over cooked and cold The chips were cold and under cooked We had to re heat the chips and potato scallops. Not very good first impressions when served. Was advised that the wait time was over 35 minutes which was fine but felt like was just putting more pressure on the team for placing another order. Ran out of buns for burgers at 5:30pm on a Friday. Ordered Snapper and it was definitely not Snapper. Paid premium prices for 2 fish fillets and only ate 1 which was a struggle. Dissappointing.
