Remember the old fashioned milk bars. Me and my brothers used to collect our soft drink bottles and cash them in at a place like this as kids. The jars of lollies reminded me. Beachwood's decor and music playlist is timeless. I've added a 360 photo so you can have a look for yourself. The food is unfussy and tasty as you might expect, dependable, hearty and a small blackboard menu that made me think, "I must try that next time," and made a mental note to look at the board before the menu next time. A quirky delightful atmosphere with great food & menu to cover all cafe lovers choices. Most impressive for me was the 1st place in Nth Qld l've found sticky/wet chia & also milk alternatives offering coconut milk which is my preference over anything else. My open turkey grilled sandwich was the best & my husbands burger filled him stating it was like eating a big fat one made at home. So fabulous to enjoy all the freshness & home made care that went into everything in this. Unfortunately too full to try any of the assortment of homemade yummy...

Stopped in for a bite to eat and milkshake, I found the location perfect & all staff helpful, efficient, polite. An extremely pleasant experience. A staff member who did table service was so polite & pleasant, this young girl needs to be valued for her manner of service, she is a vital part of what is expected. I believe her name is Jasmine.
