Takeaway: tasteless, overcooked, and literally ripped off.

First bought a 'steamed noodle and vegetables', as on the menu, and as on their counter, that was $15.

Pointed out on their counter, where it says 'add prawns' for $3, she said this special is only for the 'steamed rice and veggies' (which is also $15).

Later, when i went to pick up my meal, i said, i thought, i would also order the 'steamed rice and veggies' as a second meal, so that i can have the added prawns.

She said, i will go and ask her if she is doing it, came back from the kitchen and said yes, and did not say anything about the price, I was in a hurry and didn't focus, and later realised she took $22 on my card, she knew exactly what i wanted and why, and she totally ignored it and overcharged me with no hesitation. Once i realised it was too late to go back, so now instead of a complaint to themselves, they have an open review.

Upon opening and trying to eat it, the veggies are overcooked, the flavour is totally missing (not even salt has been used let alone any Asian spices you could possibly think of), and the tiny prawns were only good enough for my dogs.

Do yourself a favour and go to the 'Thai Cuisine' in the main street, their meals are full of flavour, their service is great, and there is obviously a reason why they are so popular. I just regret that for once i decided to try something different.

If you still want to go to this tasteless Chinese, bear in mind that they are happy to rip you off if they can, watch their menu and watch what they charge you. Really really good Chinese food in of all places... Mossman. Locals are lucky the prices are a bit dear compared to big cities but it’s a monopoly here. The lunch special of fried chicken wings for $5 is so good they are like salt and pepper wings and although I hate batter this was too good to resist. Stopped in for an early dinner. We both had delicious meals with very generous servings. My garlic king prawns had 12 very good sized prawns and lots of vegetables. Hubby had lamb in plum sauce accompanied by special fried rice. Again, a good sized portion with lots of veg and plenty of meat.
