Goodies Cafe — Restaurant in Queensland

Pie completely falling apart when eating it, looks like the crust wasn’t fully cooked through. Same with the frittata, wasn’t fully cooked in the middle either.

I had originally put a 2 stars review as I wanted to still be nice as it can happen to have misses when cooking food, but given the amazingly nice answer I got from the owner below, I had to downgrade it to 1 star.

As for the owner’s answer (since you can’t reply to a reply), I will reply in the same friendly tone as theirs: “You came in when we were closed” : yeah because your closing time on Google Maps was written as 3 pm and you didn’t bother to correct it (I just corrected it for you, you’re welcome I guess) despite being quick to answer to the reviews. So I had no idea you were closing and I couldn’t sit as you only told me you were closing once I had already ordered. The frittata being reheated or not shouldn’t matter as it should be fully cooked the first time You conveniently dodged the “pie crust not fully cooked and falling apart” part, which is the main reason I had left 2 stars. We are travelers 63 countries and all 7 continents. We are currently in a camper van traveling along the Sunshine Coast of Australia. I desperately wanted a coffee and saw the simple sign in Mossman. First I enjoyed the most delicious Chicken Schnitzel on a butter bun, then I fell deeply in love with the sea food pie. OMG the food is all home made and carefully prepared by an incredible chef l. The staff are simply amazing and the town is awesome....

Got told about this place by some tradies about a 100 km north from this place, which is always a good sign.
