Blah Blah Sandwich Bar — Restaurant in Queensland

Would not recommend this cafe. Waited at the counter for nearly 15 minutes and was completely ignored by all staff. Was eventually informed that I had to move approximately 2 or 3 steps to the right of where I was standing if I wanted to be served. When I attended to put in my order the young girl stood at the register and refused to move. I asked if she could have a look at what I wanted and was bluntly informed by an older woman to just tell the younger one what I wanted. I stated that I did not know what they called the items and would appreciate if I could should them what I was after. After all this I was eventually able to order and pay for what I wanted. I was then asked if I wanted one of the items toasted and I responded that I didn't only to be informed that it needed to be toasted to eat. I agreed to the food being toasted and could not understand why I asked if that is how it had to be prepared to be eaten. Never experienced so many issues just to get a simple meal. Took almost an hour for a process that should have been five to ten...

I've worked in hospitality for 5 years as a kitchen-hand and a cook for at least 1 year, my partner being a kitchen-hand for 2 years, just for perspective. Me and my partner went in for lunch I ordered a skinless chicken burger and large cappuccino my partner had a mince burger....

Service was reasonable for us, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

However my chicken was dry and my partners mince pattie was more of a dry rissole that was to small for the burger bun ( try adding sauces and making the pattie thinner )

My chips were great but over salted and my partners were under salted. You guys did buy salt shakers for a reason.

Food is half the battle I'd give you...

Would have given this establishment a higher rating had it not been for one very rude staff member. Looking at other reviews it appears this womans poor customer service is consistent. What was most alarming due to internal procedural failures this woman took out her frustrations on our party. This is the second visit where this staff member has behaved in such a manner.
