First impression Came in for a family lunch and first impressions weren't so good. While ordering, the staff member taking our order cut us off and asked if we were done while my partner and I were clearly holding a menu and conversing with each other about what to order. To my surprise this happened a second time keeping in mind the whole time to place our order was only a few minutes. I understand it's the opening week and it was busy however it's still the first impression we received from this store.
The Food Ordered 2 main burgers and 4x kids burger meals and oh my lord it cost the same as it did to take the family for a full dinner at Lone Star right across the road. In excess of $70 for a family lunch and our main burgers don't even come with a serve of chips or a drink. The burgers themselves tasted great, but to counteract that they are small, there's no sugar coating it the burger buns are smaller than a Maccas Cheeseburger and that's saying something.
Setting The venue is very nice, with nice furniture and really immersive lighting and it just had a feel good vibe about it which was nice. It was also busy and didn't seem to have any left overs etc around so can give positive vibes around this aspect.
Overall Would like to come back in the future however with the overpriced / undervalue of the food compared to what you can get from many shops within 500 meters of this place it's not even an option unfortunately and coupling this with the unpleasant service it is a shame.
Hopefully this feedback will help improve the store in it's growth phase however being a franchise I don't think much will / can be done about the pricing and Bundaberg just doesn't have the wealthy demographic to...

You have a sign at the front of your shop for those who have ordered takeaways to 'wait here'. This evening after I ordered my takeaway from your store I took my groceries to the car. When I returned to your store I checked that my order wasn't ready by walking up to the kitchen service window at the back of your store and asking for the order in my name. I then walked to the front of your store and waited near the sign. My order was supposed to take 10 to 15 mins. As it turns out, it has just taken 40 mins because while I was standing WHERE YOU ASK PEOPLE TO STAND, someone at the back of the store was, in a quiet voice, calling my order, over the noise of your store. The are calling out the order names without raising their voices. Twice I walked to the back of the store to ask if my order was ready so many of your staff knew my name and could see me standing right near the sign the says 'Wait here for takeaway orders' or something similar. I understand you were busy and I understand you have young staff. However you might need staff that are prepared to call out the order names so they can be heard, or perhaps be proactive in identifying a customer who has been waiting for a long time and ask why. That said, the staff’s attitude left a bit to be desired. They were pretty casual, which is fine, but seeing them scrolling through their socials while wearing the same gloves they were preparing food with? Not a great look. Hygiene and attention to detail matter, and that took away from the overall experience.
