Gelatissimo Bundaberg — Restaurant in Queensland

Friday night after dinner out with friends we were looking for a place to have a nice coffee. We tried Alowishes downtown but they were not open so we drove to Sugarland to get gelati and coffees at Gelatissimo. However, as I ordered my coffee the young server said they had some staffing issues, were closing early and coffee was not available. We were very disappointed with this situation and I explained we have just driven out from town to get a coffee here. The lovely young lady checked with the staff member and then said that, as they had not yet cleaned the coffee machine, they would make our coffees. How wonderful! Thank you, we enjoyed our coffees. I purchased 2 super thick chocolate shakes yesterday for $13.50 each and when I tasted it, it was like drinking straight chocolate milk. I went back in and said this is a milkshake a thick shake is when you can hardly suck it through a straw, the reaction I got was awful. They basically told me it was a thick shake as they put 3 scoopsof ice cream and I should of purchased the super shake and I told them I did. Turned up at 8:20 to be told they were closing early as they haven't gotten anything done, while there is a large group of people wanting to order. When asked about flavours we were told it had cookie dough in it, or maltesers but not tell us what flavour it actually is.when we asked to sample a flavour we were told they didn't have time as they were closing early.
