I had held off trying this because I was aware it was a copy.... but I had lunch here today and thought we would give them a go... Look, it isn't a Vietnamese coffee. It's a long black with condensed milk over ice. If you want a cold coffee and you are here, it's not terrible. Ours was quite bitter, but that might have been just the day.

But it isn't the Vietnamese coffee you know from other similar businesses and are expecting.

I think the difference is the cold brew vs drip, and I suspect using the same beans for the hot coffees/ machine coffees and the "Vietnamese". Just adding condensed milk and ice isn't what makes it a Vietnamese coffee 🙂

I hope they swap to doing something unique like really great fresh fruit smoothies using the local produce, or good regular iced coffees/milkshakes instead of trying to copy...

I tried a "Way of life" this morning. This place had potential to be great like Annee's. However I know where I will be going from now on. They used WAY to much condensed milk and the drink was clumpy and undrinkable. Also it can't hurt to have a staff member who can atleast pretend they are happy...

Look, it tasted great but I didn’t realise it was possible to OD on caffeine. I had the jitters & jaw swing like I’d been out on a big night in town…not sure what they’re putting in their drinks but I don’t reckon...
