18/02/23. Ordered pizzas at 1830 email stated 1930 delivery time at 1935 I checked progress and it was still at "store receiving order" Rang the store and was told there was a massive backlog and my order still wasn't on the screen told the girl I no longer wanted delivery and to call me when it was being preped and I'd head down and pick it up received no phone call half an hr later and checked the progress that said it was in the oven, left home and headed to the store (arrived at 2030) once I walked in I was met with others in the same situation after waiting more than 5 minutes to be greeted I asked for the manager who came out I had to asked her for her name because not a single staff member had a name tag after asking why I hadn't received a phone call to let me know about the wait time I was told she was too busy when I asked why they hadn't taken the online ordering off-line (my nephew had worked for pizza hut and it's ment to be done when they can't keep up) she apparently is under trained because she had to call another manager from anouther store to come do it for her and continually shifted blame to anyone that wasn't her (jess) Also couldn't do anything for me in the way of refund weather it be for the difference in price between delivery seeing as I had to pick up my delivery id like the owners to contact me to fully rectify this situation by 23/02/2023 or ill be contacting corporate to rectify this and compensate me for my time spent...... ontop of all this the pizzas we recived we on bases about half the thickness of other stores, the young lady on the prep line had her hair out no hair net or hat pushing her har out of the way in-between toppings staff were milling around the exit doing nothing about half the staff were in plain black shirts instead of uniforms not a hat or hair net in sight nor anyone wearing name tags and no "free" drink (especially as they couldn't supply the drink i ordered 2 hrs earlier) or garlic bread would make up for the absolute show that Fairfield pizzahut is to deal with . Their ovens were broken but they still accepted payment from my card for an order. Was told refund would take 5-10 business days. Was never given any confirmation that the order was cancelled. Order tracking continued to show that it was being cooked and then ready for delivery. Had to call the store a 2nd time and DEMAND written confirmation that a refund has been processed as EVERYTHING in their system showed the order was still active and waiting for me to pick it up.
Zero apologies from staff, just the same "we have processed your refund", with an expectation that I would just trust the word of the junior front service staff member with zero confirmations that the order was even cancelled...
Read moreI wish I could give this place no stars. I ordered my pizzas at 4.05 with no other customers in the store. I was told my pizzas would take 10 minutes - I was given them after 4.30. With no seats in the store it was a long wait. I was charged a Sunday surcharge without being told. The pizzas were ordinary to be nice and not cheap at $15 plus. We threw half the pizza in the bin. While I was waiting for my pizza I saw an employee spit on the ground as he came in the store, I saw another vaping as she walked in. The store seemed to be staffed exclusively with high school students who either didn’t care or didn’t know what they were doing. I’m not sure how this place has...
