DO NOT USE THE DRIVE THRU !!!!!!! DISGUSTING SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 27mins in the drive thru! 5th car in the queue and I watched 8 groups go in and out of the store with their subway meals. When I got to the window I got a “ be right with you”. Not a “ I am so so sorry for the delay and I’ll be with you as soon as I can etcetc “ I purposely didn’t ask why it was taking so long as I was waiting for them to tell me. I placed my order and specifically asked for one of the subs to be insured that there was plenty of carrot and salad on it as this is a huge huge problem with subway they do not put enough salads on their subs unless you’re standing in front of them carrots are like two dollars a kilo so it’s no excuse for not carrot to be on there. And then took me a further nine minutes to get one and a half cars around the corner to get My order. So when I got to the window I asked the young girl. Have you got a reason why it’s taken 27 minutes for me to get this order.? She replied. We’ve been very busy in the front of the shop and in the drive-through. I replied yes I’ve been in the drive-through for over 27 minutes waiting to get through. I asked her why all the people getting served that we’re walking in yet we were still sitting in our cars waiting is our money not the same as the walking ones. She really had no idea how to handle my complaint so I can see that she hasn’t been trained thoroughly in customer service. At no stage did you offer any discount? Any free water and any free cookies? Anything at all. I found this quite appalling as I said to her are you compensating us for our time that we’ve been sitting here waiting by sort of discount Or free product. Her answer was she just come back from a break and didn’t know why it was so busy. I just feel with the price of food today and the bonus is to try and buy something as a treat, you shouldn’t have to wait for 27 minutes in a drive-through to be served without any sort of explanation. For example coming out to the car park saying hi guys really sorry we’re busy , here’s a free bottle of water on us because you’re stuck in the car or anything that would make you understand their situation a bit better. So therefore I will not be going to the Idalia subway in Townsville ever again and if you ask me for recommendation I will tell you do not go there. Our subways were flimsy ,not the amount of salad they’re meant to have ,not the seafood they’re meant to have ….they were disgusting for the price we paid. Do not go to Subway Idalia . You’ll only be disappointed. I firmly believe the only good reviews about them are ones from relatives and staff themselves. I’m not the only one who was cranky...
Read morewent to this subway recently i used to be a regular customer but it has gone downhill a lot recently. most of the staff that are working dont even speak proper english therefore they dont understand what you want to order half the time and they make stuff wrong. my subs have even fallen apart before i even open the wrapping. most of the time they dont have their stock so i cant get the things that i want on my sub or even the drink that i want because the fridges are pretty much empty or missing have the flavopurs or drink every time i go in there. i dont reccomend this place as it has been very disappointing since it had been brought out by the new owners. it is also really expensive for the quality of the food. please fix this subway i used to love coming here to get food, very...

The first time I went through the drive through at 5:55pm. I was next in line from the box and waited about 5 minutes for the person in front to even be spoken too when I moved up to the box at 6.02pm the person said they were closed then did not respond when I explained I’d been there since 5:55pm. I gave them a second chance and returned a couple of days to be told they have no bread and a wrap was the only option I should have walked away at this point and gone to another store instead I got more avocado on my wrap than meat and salad.
