Best Laksa in Cairns!

Parking is easy enough with spots both out front and in the car park. The restaurant itself isn’t huge, but it has a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seating best suited for small groups of two to six.

Casual cafe sort’ve vibe, nothing fancy. The service is generally friendly, and since they’re licensed, you can enjoy a glass of wine or a cold beer with your meal.

Now, let’s talk about the laksa because it’s absolutely phenomenal. Hands down the best in Cairns! No contest! The crispy pork laksa is absolute perfection and my go to favourite each time. So why only 3 stars? Well the rest of the menu doesn’t quite hit the same standard. It’s decent, but not memorable, and a little on the pricey side.

So, if you’re a laksa lover like me, this place is a must. For other Chinese dishes, you’ll find better...

Came here today for lunch as I was craving Cafe China's Spicy Duck Laksa. I come here often and only here for my Laksa. I used to go to Cafe China when they were at the Casino and The Pier, many years ago for their Peking Duck salad. Since they no longer make it, I tried the Duck Laksa instead. Best Laksa in Cairns hands down! It's soooo good I had to finally make a review. It has a great combo of noodles, delicious broth and a generous amount of lovely duck. I don't know what they put in the broth but I could have it just on it's own! It's so aromatic, warming and literally makes me dance in my seat. Even my older children love it and beg me to take them there all the time. Service is quick and very friendly. Thank you...

We brought 4 punnets of food and some spring rolls that cost $91.00 and it was the worst chicken I have ever eaten the extras consisted of a few pieces of green capsicum and onion on loads of rice, terribly disappointed with the food the service was great the young ladies were very friendly...... WOW what a response I received to my review how could you possibly look into the serve of food I received as its in the bin believe me I was being nice with my comments as I did feel for your staff, rest assured I would never spend another red cent on your extremely disappointing food and I most certainly wont be taking this review down as its truthful.
