I usually go to cafĂŠs not just for coffee but also as a quiet place to focus or have important online meetings. Unfortunately, this cafĂŠ is not welcoming for that.
During one visit, I was in the middle of an important video call that required my full attention. Even though it was clear that I was busy, one staff member interrupted me twice: once to remove my cup and another time to ask if I wanted something else. It felt very invasive and distracting.
On another occasion, when the cafĂŠ was completely empty, I was told I could not sit at a certain table âin case more people arrivedâ and was later asked to move. This gave me the impression that they donât really want customers to stay for more than a short time, even when the place isnât full.
The barista is always friendly and creates a nice vibe, but one of the women with short hair tends to come across as quite rude, repeatedly asking âDo you want something else?â in a way that feels more like pressure than hospitality.
This cafĂŠ might be fine for a quick coffee, but if you are looking for a calm environment to focus, work, or have a meaningful conversation, I would not...

I went there and grabbed a coffee, and pulled out my computer to get a few emails sent off while I had my coffee, and the waitress came by and made a rude comment about going to the library for that. If I was there for hours, I'd understand that, but stopping at a coffee shop to have a coffee and send off a few emails didn't seem like something that justified the comment. When I left, she made a second comment about how they don't do that here. Seemed pretty clear that they didn't want my business, so I'll happily give it to someone else.
Addition in regards to the response: about 70% of tables were free when I arrived and I I sat at a table in the garden quietly, so I highly doubt the response stating that other customers commented. I also don't appreciate being called antisocial. I guess using a keyboard and mouse was justification to be called antisocial and to more-or-less be...
Read moreI like this quiet little place. It manages a quiet atmosphere even when it is busy, somehow. Even with me there. Normally I would rate it 5-star and the coffee certainly is. Unfortunately, I was a little late my last visit and had to take what was left on the he shelf for a snack - easily the worst chocolate brownie I have ever eaten, even after I asked for a short buzz in the microwave to see if we could inject some life into it. But to be fair, it was GF, something I haven't dabbled in before. I am now told that GF baked goods have a tendency to be dry, the main problem with this brownie. A very short dabble...
