Food was disappointing. Chicken burger was good, not great, The Wagyu beef burger was not so. The patty looked like a sorry frozen patty, restaurant said they are made in-house and sous vide, didn't look or taste like it was fried on a grill or hot plate, for the price ($97 for 2 burgers, an iced coffee, a vodka and coke, 2 deserts) we expected better. The lady taking orders kept rushing us too, not letting us place the order, she kept trying to finalise it while we were mid order and there was only 2 of us, so it was a small order (2 meals, 2 drinks, 2 deserts). I don't know what the hurry was, the restaurant was empty, there were only 3 tables with people at them. Then they forgot to bring our deserts. View and ambience was fantastic though, just disappointed about the food.

$20 for zucchini flowers that look like this and just tasted like I was eating oil. Absolutely disappointing. On top of that our table of six did not receive any water until we asked for it again 15-20 minutes later after every new table around us already received their waters. My chicken schnitzel was served raw but they were nice about it and removed it from the bill and provided me with a new one so I do appreciate that service. Another’s at the table was also raw on one of its edges. It is a beautiful location but I’d stay away from the zucchini flowers and make sure that your food is well cooked. The rest of us enjoyed our meals. I would give it four stars if not for the ridiculously overpriced oily zucchini flowers and lack of waters.

The most positive thing about this place was that the toilets were clean. We waited over an hour for food (pictured) next to a large group who were obnoxiously loud and obviously being prioritised in terms of service. During this long wait, the fire alarm seemed to go off without any staff around and staff appeared to be consuming their own cocktails. On a more serious note, dishes marked as gluten free on the menu were definitely not suitable for someone with coeliac which they were notified of. I would not recommend the cafe/restaurant for any dietary restrictions nor for a quick bite to eat before a glow worm tour.

Absolutely awful…..we arrived with a tour group. My friend went up to the bar to let the staff know the water dispenser was empty. The lady (if I can call her that……dark brown short hair, perhaps bartender) said “You expect me to fix it for you? You pay $30 and others pay $50”….,what kind of answer is that to a simple courtesy notification? And it gets worse. We had preordered meals (there were 20 people). The two of us had fish and chips. Mine was fine but the piece my friend had was spoiled (bad smell, oily, inedible). We told our server. And took the plate. To our surprise she came back to inform us it was not Vietnamesecfish….no one asked about that. SHE SAID THE CHEF REFUSED TO REPLACE IT!!!! He was offered a burger (not what we ordered or wanted). The server was following direction but we felt unwelcome, devalued and almost embarrassed to have offered the notice about the empty water vessel and for not eating bad fish!!!! This short brown haired lady impressed us as an UGLY Aussie…..the first rude and disrespectful person we have met on our holiday. We have had nothing but kind and lovely experiences on our tours…..until this bad experience. The fish I had was overcooked, the burger well done…..food was mediocre at best. I feel sad for the young man server and the lady with long hair server…..these were trying hard to do their jobs. The venue is lovely but the customer service from the brown short haired lady spoiled what would have been a good experience....
