Witches Falls Cottages — Hotel in Tamborine Mountain

We booked for two nights at the end of winter 2023. It was funny how i came to know about this place, it was actually through reading a negative review of another accommodation nearby, and the reviewer recommended Witches Falls Cottages instead. I am so glad i heeded the advise of the wise reviewer.

Let me count the reasons why this was a perfect and magical stay

Witches Falls Cottages and Tambourine Mountain showcased to me what I feel was quintessential Sunshine Coast aussie hospitality at its best.

First, the excellent and warm welcome from Michael and Elda. They made us feel right at home.

Then, the cozy, supremely clean and extremely well equipped cottage:

smart TVs (yes you read it right, we had 2 TVs!) with netflix ✓ a deep spa bath with jets for 2 ✓ huge comfy king sized bed with cloudy snuggly soft pillows and duvets ✓ the fireplace which was lovely to have in winter✓ the bbq facilities, microwave, cutlery✓

Followed by waking up every morning to the breakfast basket with fresh baked bread, juices and meats for you to barbeque. We tried both breakfast baskets and both were scrumptious and generous.

The best part about the stay was of course in the large part due to the host, who treated us like family and made us feel at home. The french bulldog that came to visit with Michael's daughter was super adorable too!

I'm already planning my next 9 hour flight to gold coast just to spend another few days at this wonderful...

My wife and I stayed here in 2020 as a part of our honeymoon and we both 100% enjoyed our stay. Everything was really well done and the staff were very accomodating.

We stayed in the private rainforest spa cottage if I remember correctly. The cottage itself was very cosy and comfortable, you almost wouldn't want to leave for the majority of your stay...The nice chocolates, brandy and rose petals upon entry were a nice touch we both enjoyed and appreciated. The staff really did an excellent job considering the confusion of covid at the time. They worked around the covid restraints perfectly.

The breakfast hampers every morning were excellent and of high quality, really nice to wake up to freshly baked bread and ingredients to cook with.

You can feel the owners and staff really put in maximum effort to make sure their guests are well looked after. We both very much recommend staying here and believe you will NOT be dissapointed.

This was the most magical experience. It was like you were living in a rainforest and it was so private. The bathroom was so beautiful and I love the glass walls allowing it to look like you were showing outdoor in the rainforest.Still completely private.|The breakfast was so lovely and had everything we wanted. The hot fresh bread was delicious. |We enjoyed every moment of our overnight stay and definitely want to come back. We stayed in cottage 4 and it was cosy and romantic. We walked across the road to the look out and watched the sun go down.|It was to warm to use the fire place but would love this option for Winter.|There was so much to do in Tambourine mountian and sooo many amazing cafes and place to eat. Went loved the distillery experience. There were so many beautiful winery’s to visit..|It was like its own little world up there. |This place was so central to everything!|Thanks for being amazing hosts for our romantic getaway Michael and Elda.|Will we be sure...
