This place was probably the best cafe I have ever eaten at in the past 73 years of my life. The food was immaculate, the gravy with cheese and chips tasted amazing. I really loved how the toppings would just slide off the pizza, it added character to the place. I had one pizza with egg on it and it is now my favourite pizza yet. The pure vinegar dressing on the Greek salad added a lot of good flavour. The salad was really well made, it had circles of beetroot and cabbage with cheese buried underneath. The chicken schnitzel was actually made out of 3 different meats which was a very pleasant surprise, it also had a grey tinge to it; the optimal colour for ‘chicken’. In an interesting twist to culinary fashion, pineapple has made its debut on salads and not just pizza, an unwelcome surprise but an interesting one to say the least. It was almost if the gravy was sourced from the amazing surprise I found waiting for me on the floor of the bathroom. Sitting inside however, proved quite the hazard, with my son, Jeremy, going head over heels into the wonderfully placed gap in the seating. After a great crash was heard booming from the kitchen, it was evident the staff had slipped, spilling a whole 3 litres of gravy onto our chips. But what really got fired up was the absolutely ridiculous prices haphazardly stuck (probably with gravy) to the flimsy plastic bags containing a pathetic amount of lollies, their toughness similar to that of the people that come here daily. Overall, 10/10 experience. A must visit when passing...

Cannot say I have had worse customer service before. Last Sunday my partner, friend and I went to Sharpys for lunch. My partner asked for no tomato on his burger as he is allergic. We both ordered the same burger except I had added avo to mine and kept the tomato. The lady brought out our burgers and couldn’t remember which one was which and told us to just look what has avocado. My partner realise that both burgers had tomato and repeated that he had asked for it to be not on there. She took my burger took it inside took the tomato off and brought it back out. Then realised it was the one with avocado and proceeded to try and give the one with tomato to my partner again. At this point he was getting a bit frustrated having to repeat himself again. She then, in front of us might I add, picked through his burger took the tomato off and slapped it on the table before proceeding to slide it towards him stating “look no tomato now”. I was absolutely appalled. To anyone knowing what food allergies can do plus having all these COVID safety measures I was astounded. The chef came out after we made a complaint to the other girl on and remade our food. Not to mention she spilt my milkshake all over the table and didn’t even offer to wipe off my glass. Will probably never go...

The cafe is in a convenient location right on the highway. The hamburger was very tasty and a homemade big-size meat patty. The steak sandwich was tasty except it had too much gristle and fat. The hot chips were pretty nice but didn't come out with the gravy we ordered them with. When I asked the young girl when she brought the food out if there was gravy as we ordered it for the chips she mumbled something as she walked away as quickly as she could, so she never got any gravy. The girl who brought the order out heard me ask about gravy and did not do one thing to rectify it so that left a lasting impression in my head of bad service which is a shame as I would have gone back regularly for that tasty hamburger. But I felt like an inconvenience to her so I won't be going back to that Cafe again. If the Cafe is going to hire young teenagers to work there they should make sure the kids are trained in customer service. The staff are the front and image of your Cafe so having rude and arrogant waiting staff loses...

I have mixed feelings about this place,as I intended to have a woodfired pizza, however it wasn't on the menu,I thought as it promotes woodfired pizza, that on the inside menu open grill meant woodfired pizza as nothing else on the menu stated pizza.so the open grill that was served to me was a BBQ chicken open roll with melted cheese, very heavy handed with the cheese,I may as well had a cheese toastie. Not a fan at all. My partner had the burger and chips and he was pretty happy with it. I also had a Greek salad and that was quite nice,I feel this place would be great for a ☕ and 🍰 I am not fussed on where I dine,I love dinning out,but the thing is presentation is everything and so is flavours. If I can't see love on the plate,I won't be Able to taste it,and therefore enjoying my meal is not great

This is a classic country road house without the petrol bowsers. Choosing to dine on the deck proved to be a great choice. Comfortable and pleasant. The food was a pleasant surprise. It was suggested I try the home made rissoles and I went with the mash veg and gravy. WOW. Vegetables freshly cooked to perfection, peas, beans, broccoli, carrots and Brussels sprouts. It was with a fair deal of I trepidation that I bit into the first B Sprout. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rissoles were made from a good quality lean mince and the gravy was very well balanced. If you want a meal that is prepared for you to enjoy the flavours of the food without this being buried under spices and some forms of pseudo Master Chef culinary experiment come here and enjoy extremely well prepared food.
