This use to be great with amazing food, service, to which I use to recommend this joint as one of the best Asian Fair Restaurants on the Downs. Now it is an utter, complete shemozzle. I ordered, as I have in the past, because it was delicious. 2x Combination Chow Miens . After a 20min wait, (and no problem there), I go to collect our meals. I look into the bag (as you need to bring your own), there were NO crispy noodles. I waited and explained my observation to the lady behind the counter to which she said " Listen, very busy, I stirred soft noodles into the Mien". With a crowd around me, I said " But that is not Combination Chow Mien as we have had before, we want the crunchy fried noodles and mix it up". This then turned ugly, as we had already paid. So after a back and fore argument, with her taking orders, we walked out. So of course on arriving at our usual hotel, we were greeted for dinner with a sauce with 3x bits of chicken, 1x prawn and veg on top of sloppy/wet noodles. An utter disgust. So my wife quickly went to KFC and purchases shiet food, that was one grade about this Asian restaurant's swill. It's a shame, this joint was amazing, now it is pig swill with service to match.. Gentleman, this is democracy manifest. All we wanted was a succulent chinese meal while driving through town and staying in a motel for the night. What was the charge for a 'succulent chinese meal'? Well apparently it was food poisoning and almost $40 for two containers of quite obviously frozen and reheated food. The rice was just as abysmal, tasteless, and glugy. We should have noticed the red flags, from the dining in area, or the woman at the front desk who didn't want to put down her chinese drama show on her phone, or maybe that we were quoted 10 minutes and it took 5 minutes Max. Food was absolutely disgusting, I wouldn’t even let my dog eat it, we barely touched any of it. Was heavily over charged and went back to Try get a refund or at least the money over charged back. Was completely scammed and not even offered an apology just got told there is nothing they can do about it even tho we spent over $100. They were incredibly rude. Also, They don’t offer bags for you to carry your food but instead buy wollies bags that they then re-sell to you. 1star is way...
