My wife and I have been customers of this store for the past two years, and although the service has often not been the best, it had never been a real problem until today, when we felt disrespected as customers—especially me, as a chef who has worked in the industry for 20 years.
Beyond the mistake of handing our takeout order to an Uber driver, when the staff apologized for the mix-up, I tried to take it in stride because I, too, have made mistakes in the restaurants I’ve worked at. So when they told me it would be five more minutes, I didn’t have a problem with it—and in reality, those five minutes turned into ten, added on top of the nearly thirty we had already waited for just two burgers and a regular portion of fries.
What really upset me was seeing that my order was not given any priority. Five other orders were prepared and served before mine, even though they had been placed after mine—two for Uber Eats and three for dine-in—while the young and cheerful staff seemed to be enjoying their work, unaware that I took this as a lack of commitment to what they were doing in that moment.
By the time I received my order, I was already angry, and I recognize that my attitude was rude, for which I apologize. But it is sad to see that even with a good place and a good product, the customer is not respected enough to want to come back.

Read moreA very mid experience. $15 for a Caesar salad with about enough lettuce to feed 2x adolescent earth worms which I of course asked a waitress if that was the normal amount. She insisted it was (the lettuce barely made it half way up the bowl) but offered to bring me more lettuce which is why I had flagged her down in the first place so as this point I was still happy. Once I was presented with another bowl of lettuce and picked out all the brown bits (of which there were quite a few) the size of the salad resembled something a lot closer to the photos on the online menu. My partner and I continued to eat reasonably satisfied at this point until my partner noticed the server and another staff member standing near the kitchen staring at us and laughing until they made eye contact with us and immediately stopped. Obviously this didn't sit well with me but I chose to take the high road instead of cause a scene but I really really dislike this sort of behaviour.

They are always super happy and smiling and they always goes above to make sure everything is going well. They even know us by our names and even know our orders which is above your regular customer service. The rest of the staff are amazing, always super friendly and helpful as well.
