KFC Gladstone — Restaurant in Queensland

Absolutely disgusting service at KFC Gladstone tonight. Walked in and ordered a simple Family Feast. Ended up WAITING A BLOODY HOUR (yes, 60 minutes) for our food. There were at least TEN staff behind the counter, and only ONE was actually packing orders for people who dared to walk inside. The other NINE staff couldn't care less about the customers in the store – they were all either wandering around aimlessly, glued to the drive-thru window, or just having a chat.

Not once did anyone apologise for the wait or even acknowledge the growing frustration of everyone inside. The drive-thru was flying out orders while the rest of us just stood there, ignored and hungry. Absolutely filth service. If you want to be treated like a ghost and wait forever for overpriced, soggy chicken, then by all means, come here. Otherwise, avoid like the plague.

After going through the drive through placed my order then getting to the window to pay I asked the girl if I could add something to my order only to be told that she couldnt add anything else and that I would have to re go through the drive through to place another order. Which I was not going to do. Then getting home only to find yet again they still cant get the orders right and we were missing items. This is not the first time it doesnt matter if you drive through or walk seems to be quiet regular items missing or wrong with your order. I have tried to ring on a number of times to complain but it doesnt seem to get any better. i am so over this not only driving down to get your order but have to go back again to pick up missing / wrong items. Sorry if they cant train the staff right maybe get new staff that...

Slowest KFC ever EVER!! The first time I visited here (when I 'just' moved to town) we ordered through the App (onsite) and we actually waited an entire hour!!! 1 Hr! There were lots of unhappy customers waiting also. Delivery drivers (uber eats etc) and the drive through line was down the road. I understand that night they were super busy, as it was a Thursday and obviously the female manager was training new young staff at the time, and was apologizing. Yet I went there weeks later on a very quite day and stood at the front counter for far too long without even being acknowledged...... so I walked away and ordered through the App, left and came back 15 minutes later. It looks to me that drive through orders take priority!! I'm going to drive further to Clinton as service is...
