I have never left a bad review but these people shouldn’t be in public.

We arrived and they were out with a sign saying find a camp and come back when we are back. When they got home they ran over and said we would have to move, we weren’t in an odd spot we were next to a power box and water. Between 2 other vans.

They made us move to a site where we couldn’t plug into power and said it was the same price for powered and unpowered.

We said we didn’t know how long we would be there and could we just pay day by day, they said that’s fine. But apparently they have unwritten law that you must come and pay before 9am. As we didn’t know this unwritten rule a few days in we payed at 3 and they said we must leave the following day as we didn’t pay before 9am, I thought they were joking but they weren’t. The rudest people I have met.

The showers only work 1 at a time. If 2 are going the second one only drips out.

The camp ground itself is in a great spot. I would love to take their job as they could be full but everyone in the camp was laughing at the rude things they said to them. Only stay if you...

Aggressive and disgruntled caretaker. Ken confronted me very aggressively about my k9 being off lead. She was sitting outside my caravan the whole day, disturbing no one. Well behaved, under my control even with other dogs around barking.

When I tried to tell ken this, he raised his voice pointed his finger at me and didn't lete get a word in edge ways. I told him I didn't know and that she was under my control and not aggressive, which is obvious. Ken then started making up lies about something I apparently said to his wife, then ripped out my power cable and said he was calling the cops (which he did)

I was there less than a day and was told I had to leave, no warning about the on leash dogs. Just... Get out. When I said there was no signage or warning, he lied and said he told me when I booked in. (He did not, as he didn't even see my dog, so why would he tell me about dogs.)

Basically this guy got upset because his wife told him she spoke to me about the dog and he's taken it the wrong way and come down to my site aggressively yelling and carrying on.

Absolutely uncalled for behaviour. Ripped off my$30 and booted...

The toxic Show Society brains trust stuffed up letting caretakers Ed and Roxy go - but as a frequent traveller I often visit Gladstone and really enjoy the budget accommodation ($25 one person one night) and the fire hose pressure hot showers, clean facilities and safe peaceful vibe - I highly rate this show ground - tip . . . just a 5 minute walk away is the Dragon...
