This place is really hit and miss. I usually like going there. The service is first rate but the food depends I suppose, on staff rostered on at the time. My sister visited from Newcastle so I took her there on Sunday. She ordered FRUIT SALAD & CINNAMON CHIPS served with cinnamon tortilla chips, ricotta and honey. The fruit salad consisted of very old, rubbery water soaked melon with the odd grape. Absolutely no excuse for this as the berries and other fruit are in plentiful supply at the moment. The ricotta was a tiny amount with a couple of drops of honey on top. The cinnamon chips, however were good. I was so embarrased. Read moreI've been here nearly every day for a week while working nearby, and the place has been a godsend. Usually quite busy, which I think reflects its superiority over most of the other local fare. Kitchen staff must have changed from prior reviews: there's a disciplined looking head chef and lots of activity. The coffee is good rather than great, but the food (my usual Feta/Avocado/Salmon stack on Ciabatta) has consistently been of a very reasonable standard.

Husbands arrived 25 mins later after sitting on counter for 7 mins. It was not his. 10 mins later they brought it out. Bacon was hard and cold uneatable. What was supposed to be a breakfast date together was pitiful. The girl serving at counter was run off her feet. The two other girls talked more than anything. Would not recommend...
