Masala Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Queensland

We had a large order of takeaway for my wife and granddaughter's joint birthday celebration. Much of the food was our standard picks from Marsala so we know what we are getting. It was all very good taste wise. Excluding one dish which was extremely hot (we had asked for medium). But this dish seemed to have gotten a double dose of spicyness so no one could have more than a mouthful to try before sweating and the feeling of a burning mouth. But to be fair this is one dish out of about 50 dishes we have ordered over a few years from Marsala. Service was great and it was ready to go about two minutes after we arrived to pick it up. I have put 5 stars for atmosphere as we didn't dine in and there is no N/A available. Always good value for money and the whole family loves it from...

Wait times - sometimes okay but mostly unreasonable. If it's a special event day - forget about it! But normally on a Friday night we wait about 60 minutes - twice as long as they tell you over the phone. I've never gotten the food out before 45 minutes. This is why it loses some stars.

Food - delicious. The sauces are flavourful. I can't speak about the meat content because I order veggie dishes. Sometimes they are touch and go about availability of certain items (sometimes no dal, sometimes no chana masala). Their naan is really good. I also highly recommend the veggie paratha bread. It's a meal in and of itself!

It’s a shame about the terrible wait times. Perhaps more kitchen staff are required, or they should come in...

Food is usually amazing everytime. But the problem I always have is the wait time. I order online woth a pick up time and usually get a message saying it will be an extra 30+ mins. This time I got the message saying it will be another 30 min wait and when my partner picked it up. He had another 15min wait... only for them to say that someone else had taken my order. I dont believe there was someone there with the name Shanii and they said there was only 1 order come through. Then they said itll be another 15mins to make another.

So in total I ordered food at 4.30 and we didn't get our food until 5.45.

Customer service...
