At the moment the council are digging up the main street of Mission Beach ( Aug 2025) and it is a mess and noisy. So it is hard to get a park. The hotel itself is good, plenty of staff to serve you and clean considering the muddy mess out side. There is a small bottle shop corner where you can purchase takeaway alcohol. There are a number of things that happen in the hotel through the week, from happy hour to Raffles Friday night. There is a stage ,but i don't know when they have entertainment, so you would have to contact the hotel to find out.The toilets were clean and the floor is one level, so easy for disabled or elderly. There is a Tab or keno for a flutter. If you like my reviews please follow us around Australia 🇦🇺.

There's a good range of food on the menu with something for everyone. We had steak sandos and a seafood basket. For $22.50, you can't go wrong with the sando, with super fresh ingredients & a nice side of chips. The seafood basket also hit the spot with some of the biggest scallops you're going to see. All the usual beers on tap, with plenty of others in the fridge of you want something else. There's plenty of room out, the front, inside, and out the back along with plenty of screens to watch sport and $1 pool (how long ago was it $1 at your local) All up, a top pub with great food.

A local tavern located in mission beach. Just beside the main street. There is some free street parking space in front of the tavern but the space is pretty limited. Saw a lot of people chilling outside the tavern so decided to check it out. The beer is not pricey, maybe 10 bucks a pint? Depending what beer you are getting. There are pool tables inside the tavern and a lot of tables, there is another big space behind so you can chill out there. Never get the food there as I wasn't hungry so can't comment about the food. Overall a pretty good place to visit

Not much in the way of atmosphere when you don't know anyone there, but it is probably the best place to get a meal in Mission, given that the restaurants there all assume that you own Fort Knox gold reserves and their mission (excuse the pun) is to relieve you of as much gold as is humanly possible in the shortest possible amount of time. The tavern is located on Porter Promenade on the left side heading North, street parking is available but not a heck of a lot of it during busy times, is good for wheelchair accessiblity, service is good, meals are huge and the drinks are icy cold, so what more could you ask for. Ordering your meal is a bit tricky the first time, so order at the main bar, as you walk in, they will give you a buzzer so you collect your meal from a bay Marie, directly behind where you ordered it at the bar but you will need to walk around (follow the tables) to get to the collection point. Drop your buzzer in the bucket before collecting meal and cutlery. All in all pretty good all round, we would go back there, so have no hesitation in...

I came here for a dinner whilst visiting from Melbourne with my family. We all had terrible meals! Everyone's meals had something on their plate that had been microwaved and still cold!! One meal was unedible due to the 'quality' of the prawns even the staff tried the prawns and was disgusted and spat it out! The mashed potato came out in the shape of the container that it was heated up in. The steaks had grisel and fat all throughout out. Roasted vegetables were microwaved. Olives put into the meal when requested no olives. We requested a refund for the one meal that was unediable and owner flat refused and said he had never had a bad review..what a liar! Rudest man ever, even swore at my pregnant sister-in-law after having a go at the rest of the table for their complaints which were justifiable. We had to ask the waitressing staff several times to speak to the owner as well as he kept refusing! Definitely do not...

Ordered a surf+turf meal here, with minimal expectations as usual with these kinds of dishes but sometimes you find a gem. This was not one of them, the meat although cooked to how id specified was almost 50% uneatable fat, with an attempt to hide it under a sauce, barely got 3 prawns, 2 and a half to be precise, scallops were completely raw, i dont know if this was intentional but not a fan, and the calamari were bland at best, and worse cold. The audacity to charge $50 for this is laughable, and as i mentioned before my expectations were already low Side note also those fish-net looking chairs are a rather cute idea being near the beach and all, are quite frankly some of the most uncomfortable things to sit in for anymore than 5 mins, anyone wearing shorts that doesnt cover your legs completely is walking away with a checkered pattern . Food game needs a real step up also could do with a broader...
