Love, love, love this amazing little cafe right in the heart of gorgeous mission beach. Quite often my partner and I go for the amazing coffee or the deliciously knockout eggs benny from Shanti. However since they started up doing pizza nights on a Wednesday night, we made it our weekly treat. The price of the pizzas at Shanti is easily the best value for money in town (and possibly even the whole cassowary coast) but, also the best in flavour. We always get the Curry Chook pizza because it is absolutely unbeatable in terms of how good it taste. Would happily go as far as saying one of the tastiest pizzas we’ve ever had, and just to top things off, we ordered our regular Curry Chook but felt like we needed something a bit on the Mexican side of the flavour pallet. We called up and asked, (even though it’s not on the menu) if we could possibly get a Mexican pizza, and wow did the Mexican pizza we got off the cuff deliver. It was on par with our weekly favourite, and if was permanently added to the menu would 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone looking for something cheap, affordable and delicious. Would give more stars if I could.

Highly...

let me tell you it was my birthday today and I was amazed with the kind of customer service in this cafe today morning. We had green juice and ice chai. Juice no complain but iced chai what was that? Ice and cinamon and chai mix with bit of milk? Whoever was cooking meal is next level a bad cook/a careless chef. Egg benny charged $27 ripped off with just little bit holandaise sauce and hard poached egg. My wife had a egg on toaste but bread was too tough crust nearly hard to eat. Eggs way too over cooked as we were hungry and had paid $65 for whole meal so had to eat whatever we could. Seriously we even waited 5min to get cuttlery as our food was left on table without cuttlery. I had to go on counter by myself to ask for so i dont mind that but seriously what a sad experience it was. We never travelled to misson beach if we ever again we never comming to this cafe. Charged $4 extra for semi cooked soggy...

Saw all these amazing reviews expecting a lovely brunch experience. Vibe was totally off as if every employee was having a bad day. Decided to just get coffee and a muffin and maybe look elsewhere. Muffin is doughy and tastes as if it’s not cooked properly. I go to take it back and instead of hearing “so sorry about that, would you like to choose something else?”, the manager decided to argue with me basically saying that my opinion was wrong since they sell the cakes all the time with no issues. Newsflash... they probably buy your gross muffins and don’t come back. Seriously disappointed. Coffee was fine I guess... if you like paying an extra dollar for...

We chose this cafe based on Google Map Reviews. And it proved to be a great choice. The ladies that run it obviously have a deep passion for their craft. Firstly, THE COFFEE IS GREAT. Beautiful atmosphere (we were drinking our coffee in the covered outdoor area during a tropical downpour-a sense of oneness with the place). We shared mushrooms on toast with some salad and parmesan-lovely. If you are in Mission Beach, and you are from somewhere where you take good coffee for granted, drop in here.

Great selection of pizzas starting from $15 med size $20 large pizzas and add on options if you want to spice things up, I add jalapenos and chorizo sausage to mine. The restaurant had a sweet and relaxing vibe, caffee del mar style music playing in the back groung. The staff are professional, super friendly and welcoming. $5 Corona beers specials every Tuesday and Wednesday night come and enjoy.
