Raintrees Tavern — Restaurant in Queensland

Last Thursday 2/10/25. I visited this venue, playing the pokies ,I wasn't there long. I arrived around 10.50 pm I had a win cashed in on the card provided To transfer the money from the machine Foolishly I went back playing ,had 2 more wins $50 and $481 , Tried to transfer the money onto the card Nothing I asked the attendant, he made a phone call He said nothing I can do mate I left infuriated, rang the venue the next day from work the lady was very helpful said ur 481 is here ,I said what about the 50 ,she said she didn't know about the 50 but would Try and get it to me asap,she said a guy called Craig will be there to give me the money I get there the guy gave me 480 ,I said wasn't there a $1 involved Got the $1 ,I said where is the 50 ,he said couldn't find it ,I said mate this is stealing ,I'll report you to the gaming commission He laughed and I walked away Give this place...

Well where do I start a friend went in tonight to pokies then spent 400 then decided to go through to the sports bar where not one person was wearing a mask he was told he was not allowed in the premises as someone had used his identification before which I find that very hard to believe as we have a family get together of 13 of us which travelled all the way from Tasmania then to be told that afterwards spend 400 + dollars also in Tasmania you don't get tickets for the machines it's all dealt with with 1 or $2 coins he was basically abused for that absolute dreadful service especially weather tourist 13 people you turned off tonight kind of shows what kind of premises at is with 4 people in there of a Saturday night absolutely wrong the way you treat your customers you should be ashamed...

Just went in for a beer and maybe a bite to eat. Couldn't find where to order food and probably wouldn't because it all felt a bit dingy and down market. There are about 3 separate areas and where I think the food is usually ordered, smelt of odour. Clientele appeared to be a lower socio-economic group.
