Red Rooster Rockhampton South — Restaurant in Queensland

5 of us went to red rooster in south Rockhampton, some of the staff where too busy chatting to notice I was even standing at the counter waiting to be served. Then I asked to order meals separately as there was 2 support workers and 3 disability clients and we needed separate receipts, the staff member behind the checkout seemed confused that we couldn't all just pay together,

The floors and tables where absolutely disgusting. From what i could see no tables had been wiped clean, and I was so shocked that when a client accidentally dropped his lunchtime tablet on the floor and we moved the table to see if it went under, there was dust and rubbish, and food scraps everywhere about an inch thick. So it's obvious that the staff don't tend to the cleaning properly such as moving the tables and cleaning the floor under them, I felt sick after seeing it. How hard it must be to vaccuum and mop!!

The food was very average, I personally was not impressed nor did I feel hungry after seeing such a mess. I ordered flayva wrap combo, the chips where dry and the wrap was crumbling and falling apart, food presentation and instore shop floor presentation was below average.

Red rooster south Rockhampton, you need to up your game and clean up more often. If the floors and tables got cleaned up everyday INCLUDING the tables, then it might not have been so bad. How hard is it to get 2 staff to lift and move the tables when cleaning the floors? I think its just laziness.

Overall rating I'd give is a 3 out of 10. And that's being generous.

I'll probably go back sometime within the next two weeks just out of curiosity to see if anything has changed, it'd be such a disappointment if things...

Sorry to say I was not impressed recently on a visit to Red Rooster, not so much the service. But the food - I bought a Troppo Box, which ordinarily I enjoy- but this one was very disappointing- 1 small piece of chicken - chips = small & stale not filled -all just thrown in a large box, which maybe they should have chosen the correct size for the meal. Very little effort made to the presentation of this item, sadly to say, management may need to speak to some of their staff about effort and pride in their work, this goes for wherever people may be employed, anywhere, any industry. I will not be rushing back to Red Rooster anytime...

Absolutely disgusting! Wanted to order hot honey chicken but they said they were out cause of a big order, while sitting down someone came in and ordered some, was just a 15 min wait. I Ordered a flavour wrap meal with no tomato, they put tomato on it. 10 pack cheese nuggets, they were cold and rock hard. The gravy was like water.
