Rice to Meet You — Restaurant in Queensland

Just went to order some sushi for myself and my partner. Ordered 8 rolls. Should be $32 with their deal of 4 for $16. Got charged $36. Walked out confused. Few seconds later returned to the store and questioned the lady at the counter to which she says oh yes I charged you for your drink. Love I walked in with that drink of which I purchased from Coles. Another lady came out and said we can't find your transaction. What a transaction that took place not even a minute ago. At this point I noticed flies in their display cabinet. Not very good food safety practices followed here. I asked for a refund because at this point it was beyond a joke. No apology was going to fix possible contamination and being overcharged without even asking the customer. More awareness is needed from staff. Tasty noodles and great takeaway experience!!!

I recently ordered takeaway from Rice to Meet You and was really impressed! The noodles were absolutely delicious – full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and still warm and fresh by the time I got it. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The service was quick and friendly, and everything was well packed. A great spot for a satisfying meal, even on the go. Unlucky?

It tasted good, however this was the only food I had different from the rest of the family that day, and I copped a serious bout of diarrhoea. I'll spare you the pictures.

I lost 5kg in weight and a week out of my life. Hopefully it was a one-off, as I have eaten there before...
