Roo Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Queensland

We saw lots of good reviews, I really wanted to like this place. It’s well decorated, has nice seating and booths. The ambience is nice, country music is playing. But unfortunately I felt like this place had no hospitality. We waited over an hour and a half for our meals (only two of us) and weren’t the only ones with most of the other tables also getting agitated. Other people that sat down after us, asked how long their meal would be and got their meal before us. When the meals did come out they were delicious, but we were so angry and hungry we ate it really quickly and left. I was taking my husband out for his birthday, so it was a pretty lousy dinner experience... I’d go back if I felt more welcomed and the wait times were fixed, the place was not even half full. Couldn’t imagine how long we would have been waiting if it was...

The new Roo Bar and Restaurant is awesome. Very country looking with staff in country uniform and hats. They had great deals as well, we got T-bones for $19.90 each and 2 for $20 cocktails. The Food was great and so was the atmosphere, everyone was really friendly. Not really busy yet as they are new, but I'm sure the word will get out soon. Great place for a meal and to hang out for...
