Sail-In Takeaway — Restaurant in Queensland

Historically really good - and continues to be so at good value. Latest order was nice and a good feed. Only reason its not a 5 is because I suspect they're struggling like a lot of other takeaway places - my latest order was smaller than previous orders, but this is probably fair enough I think.

On the whole - good selection with moist and crunchy crumbed fish (would reccomend spending the extra $2 and go the sweetlip instead of the cheapest fish on the board - basa tended to lose the flakeyness). Chips with chicken salt - classic and tasty, if a bit dry - to be expected though.

I would reccomend it! Beats Maccas any day of the week!!! honest-to-God fish and chips.

Note: Definitely call ahead if you can - all of my orders have taken longer than 30...

Wanted to try this place for awhile. First time here, waited 30 mins and received undercooked food. Fish smelt funky, couldn’t eat anything we ordered. Place needs a serious upgrade no wonder they’re not doing well....
