Black Rock Inn — Hotel in Blackwater

I have been travelling over out back Qld and had a stop over at Blackwater. Glad we chose stayed here Have to say the best we have experienced in our trip. Blackwater is a mining town but don’t let that bother you. It was the most affordable and great value motel we have stayed at! Great clean room only small but all we needed. Modern Very Comfy big bed Location is great On site restaurant that cooked up a great meal. And the staff were so welcoming and nothing was a bother. Ok so there's not much in Blackwater itself. If you are traveling for work or on your way through I would highly recommend. The girls at reception are fantastic, the rooms are super spacious and perfect for a family or to share with another couple as both rooms have ensuites. The restaurant attached to the Inn served great meals with young helpful staff. We came on a roadtrip with another family and it was a great place to base ourselves to head to the Blackdown Tableland NP. Beds are comfy, good shower and aircon. Friendly staff, But that is where it stops.

Internet - NIL Mobile reception in room - Very Limited TV - old and does not get 90% of the channels. No HD channels at all, sound but no pics I provided the same feedback when I stayed here 12 months ago and multiple times since but still has not changed. As a result cannot catch up on work when staying here.

Yes the rooms are the most comfortable , but if you can't watch TV or use the internet it does not make for a relaxing stay.
