We were so glad we came in, and we could not possibly say enough good about this place! Between every bite we couldn't help but say how delicious it was, it was that good. When you're outside looking through the glass, what you see does not do this place justice. It looks like it would be pretty old school inside, but when you walk in, it all looks clean, fresh, and inviting. The service is great, the atmosphere is great, and the food and alcohol free pina colada blew us away. Most places make boring plain vegetarian pasta so we had been missing Italian food, but Sugarcane was beyond delicious. It looked like there wouldn't be enough sauce on the pasta but it was perfect, no need for salt or pepper or anything else. It was perfect. We had one with the garlic cream sauce loaded with veggies and one with the chili and wine sauce and couldnt choose which was better, and the peroni's went with them perfectly. I had the pleasure of dining at my favourite restaurant, located in Edmonton, Cairns, and it was an extraordinary experience! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly made pizzas and pastas filled my nose and made my mouth water. I cannot get enough of their garlic prawn and jambalaya dishes - absolutely phenomenal! But let me tell you, the lasagne was the real showstopper for me. The richness and fullness of the flavour made me feel like I was back in Italy.

I recently tried their Brazilian style pizza, and it was out of this world.

The staff are always friendly, happy, and attentive, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Their consistency in delivering authentic and delectable meals is remarkable, and their table service only adds to the overall pleasant experience.

We have eaten here regularly and the food has always been amazing, however last nights dinner was incredibly disappointing and the worst we have had. The waitress got our order wrong, so we had to wait over 10 mins for the starter she’d missed. I feel like there is a new chef/s; the Boscaiola was oily and not creamy as it usually is and the Amatriciana was tasteless, however this is usually warm and spicy. The children’s schnitzel was brunt and obvious it was sat under the heat lamp for a while as it was dry, and their mashed potato tasted powdery.
