Superstar Cafe — Restaurant in Queensland

Ordered two crepes, some wedges and two cokes. Waited 45 minutes for the food, that was below average. The worst tasting crepe ive ever eaten, with dry chicken inside. Didn't have the main ingredient of mushrooms so had to have it substituted for onion, which was greasy. The crepe itself was undercooked. The wedges were undercooked, and had the tiniest bit of sour cream. When we asked the young boy working there for our drinks, he said "oh drinks" and went back to the kitchen and didn't return, had.me wondering if he's still looking for the drinks. When we asked the blonde "waitress" she barked "they're in the fridge" as if we should have known via some form of telecommunication. No communication at all what so ever. Found this place about 1 month ago and gave it a try Have been back every time we go up the tablelands We where very impressed with the whole cafe Staff are friendly and make you feel like a friend coming for lunch The chef is lovely You can tell he cares about his food Which is fresh all cooked to order Presentation is there as well He also makes a point to see how you are enjoying your food We ordered the steak sandwich which was huge and i have never had anyone ask how they would like the steak cooked which this chef did So on this note he cares about his food It is nice to see a family business and they are doing it right prices are GREAT and NOT overpriced like some cafes i have been too Give these people a go you will not be disappointed Thank you for your hard work A very...

Came out for brunch here with my partner and son.. got the pancakes and a big brekky plate and i got what was meant to be a chicken cheese and onion toastie when it got bought to the table my toastie had avo on it i opened it and was no onion so it was the wrong one i went straight to the counter and the girl basically told me theres nothing she can do as the grill has been turned out i cant eat avo so was a big disappointment after spending an amount to not be able to eat and no offer for nothing else was rude service from her when i went back not even a sorry ..
