Ten 06 — Restaurant in Queensland

Wow what a great energy this place has. I had a superb breakfast here. I was first of all, I was blown away by the atmosphere. It felt like entering a home rather than a venue. It has wonderful community spirit. Clearly you are more than a patron to the owners. The food was top level. Presented beautifully and matched with both freshness and taste. Outstanding. Food made with love, compliments to the chefs. Coffee was brilliant and the service was exceptional. Our waitress did an amazing job with a very passionate approach to her job, you could see she loves working here. Ended up having a conversation with the owner Andy the most genuine hospitality venue owner I have ever met and clearly behind the atmosphere here, even though he was humble in crediting his whole team of staff. This is a boss who cares on every level, authentically and deeply. These are the business's who deserve acknowledgement for what they do and support to continue to do not only what they are great at but also what they clearly love doing.. If you are looking for the perfect venue in the Northern beaches this is it, open and inviting overlooking the beach. Went for lunch during a holiday . Very average .Wanted something off breakfast menu . No all day breakfast . ok . Then chose flatbread and dips . Not available. Pizza oven not running . Ended up sharing partners blue cheese burger which consisted of a meat pattie , spinach leaves , suspected blue cheese dressing out of a bottle and tomato ends . topped off with packet frozen chips . Seems popular. Maybe we were just unlucky 🤔

As a response to reply . I appreciate it’s not pleasant getting less than perfect reviews but I consider mine constructive criticism not just a whinge . There was most definitely a tomato end in the burger , ( probably an error , it’s ok to admit to a mistake ) the sauce did taste like it was out of a bottle ( maybe recipe needs adjusting) and we were not asked if the meal was good . The plate was cleared , that’s it . And if all the restaurants in the area use frozen chips that’s a sad indictment on Cairns . Thank...

I didn't enjoy much here. Similar to The Castle movie, it was the vibe, I just didn't like the vibe. (OK, for me the food was also not great.)

I had a toastie with ham, pepperoni, tomato, pineapple & mozzarella -- I didn't enjoy it. The fillings were sparse and the "bread" tasted like a store-bought pizza base that had been cut to shape.

My friends had an eggs Benedict and a "hangry man" breakfast plate with mixed reviews. The eggs Benedict had reasonably good feedback and the big breakfast was assessed as some good and some just OK.

It's June, the weather is cool (for Far North Queensland) but we had a very persistent fly buzzing around our table both before the food was served & when we were eating. While that was annoying it's not the fault of the restaurant, but surprising for this time of the year.
