The owners of this place have taken the cafe scene in Rocky to a whole new level. After moving to Melbourne 8 years ago, I can honestly say The Green Eat would not look out of place down in the trendy laneways of the big smoke. The coffee was on point, the heathy food options were aplenty and the staff were super friendly, well trained and we left here knowing exactly where our new ‘local’ is every time we come back to the region for a visit. Well done to the owners, a real breath of fresh air for Rockhampton....

On first glance, the menu looked decent and affordable but the lunch wrap ($11) was cold and ready made with no sauce, and the Mexican bowl mince was obviously microwaved as one side was piping hot and the other freezing cold. Read moreThe cafe itself was cute, the furniture isn't suited to eating meals more just coffee catch ups. The price was cheap but that reflects on the quality of food. My chia latte was awful, I couldnt drink it at all and ended up leaving it on the table. I got the eggs benny and the eggs were over cooked and the sweet potato tasted funky. My friends wrap had way to much pepper on it. I will not be attending the green eat again nor will I be recommending...
