Ate at tannins tonight for our 10 year anniversary. We absolutely loved the share plate cheese board and Mediterranean. You know when you're eating at a place that takes it to the next level and these boards were fun, tasty, and varied enough that you always looked forward to the next bite.

We were excited to try the desert board after how good this was but it was quite disappointing, felt like it was from a different restaurant - there were no pastries and no chocolate fondant which were stated on the menu. Instead some of the cakes and muffins looked like they were purchased from Coles or woolworths packets. I understand the business was recently purchased a few days ago however it would have been great to let us know or even discontinue deserts until it could mirror the quality of the other boards. Such an awesome little place with a very nice vibe, a perfect place for a date or catching up with someone.

My partner and I were celebrating our 2 years together, and struggled to pick out a place to enjoy dinner and Tannins just stood out to us. Booking was so easy and when we showed up there was barley anyone there we had the whole place to ourselves!

The staff were so nice and accommodating for us, it made the night really special. The food was very delicious too and the cocktails are PERFECT.

They are mixed so well and taste so yummy! It's definitely a night we will both remember together till we are old and grey.

High expectations were not met. Very poor service and very over priced food options Thankfully Banksia was able to offer a greater option of food and service that rescued the night

Update - your information is incorrect in your response as we had a table booked for over 3 weeks and on arrival last night we sat at our table for over 25 mins before we had to get up and ask if it was table service. Finally a very young lady came and took a drinks order with no sense of customer service and later advised by you that she shouldn’t be taking orders.

As for the food I don’t believe a share platter should be deemed as a main meal especially as it’s $24 per person so almost $100 for 4 people to share some cheese and bread doesn’t sing main...
