During a recent and infrequent visit to Toowoomba, we had the opportunity to dine at this Thai restaurant, which we selected based on its convenient location and menu offerings. We ordered three dishes that are commonly considered staples in Thai cuisine: Panang Curry with Lamb, Chilli Basil Pork, and Pad See Ew. The Panang Curry Lamb and Chilli Basil Pork were both robust in flavour, delivering the aromatic and well-balanced spice profiles typically expected from these dishes. These selections met our expectations and were consistent with traditional Thai taste standards. In contrast, the Pad See Ew was notably lighter in taste. While the texture and presentation were acceptable, the dish lacked the depth of flavour we usually associate with this popular stir-fried noodle option. This may reflect a difference in regional preparation or a milder seasoning approach by the chef. The overall dining experience was pleasant. The food was served in a timely manner, and the portion sizes were reasonable. Service was courteous and efficient, contributing positively to the experience. In summary, we found the food to be enjoyable and the service satisfactory. We would recommend this establishment to other Thai food enthusiasts seeking a reliable Thai meal in Toowoomba.

The first thing I noticed was the smell. The atmosphere is really not giving you that enticing food smell. It literally smells like a "smelly dog". I don't know why but that's just what I remember from the smell. I am very sensitive with smell. It was my husband's birthday and we were chasing for some Thai food and we just remembered seeing this place and we thought, why not Try!? The service was good. The food is not very authentic some are OK some are not. The soup we ordered was cold. The pad Thai was very sweet. I have been to Thailand many times and I know exactly what Pad Thai should taste like. This is also something I noticed with the way they cook the coconut milk here in Australia for every Thai Restaurant is just so bad! They are not cook at all!!! Coconut milk/cream are supposed to produce that beautiful smell and natural oil. I've never seen any Thai restaurant who cooks it that way here in Australia, atleast not yet. I've cooked coconut milk using canned/preserved and it actually makes a similar taste if you cook it with enough time. Maybe my taste is just over the top. So if you don't find my review helpful that is OK.

I was a reluctant customer in attending to this restaurant until reading their negative reviews. But I wanted to see for myself. I ordered Thai take away. There was parking available in front of the restaurant. My order was ready for pick-up when I arrived. Manny took my order. He was helpful and friendly. I ordered quite a few on their menu . Entree Chicken Satay sticks, money bag and Toowoomba Thai chicken wings . The chicken satay was beautifully cooked and moist. The Toowoomba chicken wings was a bit dry and unappealing to eat. For main dishes we have Ginger Roasted Duck, Chef's Speciality Massaman Beef, Pad Thai Chicken and Spicy Stir Fry Pork. The Massaman Beef and Pad Thai was okay but I'd had better. The Ginger Roasted Duck had very little meat , very salty and lots of vegies. Overall experience it was okay.

We rang ahead and booked a table. There was a reserved sign on a table (and nothing else) when we arrived. No one else was in the restaurant either. Other people came in to dine after we were seated. We had to ask for menus, wine glasses (as we had taken BYO) and water which was brought without glasses. We were sitting waiting for service to order yet other diners who arrived after us were served before us. Whilst dining, we noticed many irate take-away customers waiting for orders including Uber Eats drivers who had to wait more than 30 mins for their pick up orders. There were 3 young male waiter staff. Clearly plenty to service the guests, yet many were left wanting and waiting to order their meals or collect their orders. Yes, it was Friday night, but surely people ordering food could be given reasonable wait times so there were not numerous folk standing inside and outside the venue waiting. They were jostling at the entry! We did not enjoy our dining experience due to the crowded congested entry area and also the unsmiling disinterested wait staff. The food was okay, certainly not the best Thai food we've had. Sorry Toowoomba Thai! We had had lovely meals before your renovation but this was certainly not a...
