This place was awesome but no more. Arrived and were sat. 20 minutes later flagged down a waitress and asked if we could have some drinks and a menu. Not well received. Down hill from there. An hour ten in we got entrees. Left at 2 hours still waiting for main course. Got two rounds of drinks in two hours but only because we managed to finally get the attention of a waitress. Complained and then got told we’d been rude all night. God knows to who. Hope the waitress is proud of herself with that furphy. Couldn’t get service at all. So no idea how we could be rude all night. Tried to speak to “manager” just talked over the top of us. Oysters were under cooked and foul. Spoke to management who just wanted to make a scene. Told they had a full house so lack of service was to be expected. A Touch of Salt, C Bar, Longboards and Shorehouse all can cope. Absolutely shocked about the lack of professionalism. Will not be back. Do not recommend. Wouldn’t give a star at all if possible. Appalling behaviour. We were frequent diners for lunch and dinner. Will be spending our money elsewhere.
The response from the owner is as inaccurate as his account on the night. Now there’s a free drink? I was drunk? Just more of the same appalling behavior. He should take up...
Read moreLet me first say the food was excellent and we had no complaints from that side of things. Our main concern with our experience was the poor service we received. We'd booked ahead and when we arrived we were sat down promptly and the waitress got our 2 kids some colouring packs which was a great start. From here though things went downhill. We got our drink order taken but then had to wait quite a while for them to come out then we sat patiently for more than half an hour after getting drinks to simply place our order. By the time we got the entrees it was about an hour from arriving and we still hadn't received the kids meals which being nuggets and chips was a surprise. This for any parents out there comes with the moaning and groaning of hungry kids asking when they are going to get their food.
Eventually the remainder of our order came out at about the 90min mark and we enjoyed the food. Would we go back again?? Probably not due to that experience as we aren't huge Greek food people but for those who do like that style of food I would give them a shot because the food was excellent and maybe it was just...
Read moreArrived at the time and seated. Waitress was prompt with the first drink orders. I ordered a bottle of brown brothers moscato, after 5 mins the waitress came back to the table and explained they had no moscato, only a rose or sparkling white moscato. We chose the sparkling wine, only for it to come out 5 mins later, warm from the shelf, when I touched the bottle I realised this immediately and asked the waitress about it, she informed me that they had no cold bottles and she chilled it in the fridge for a few minutes, and asked if I wanted it back in the fridge for a few more minutes to cool. I declined. My guest then ordered a cider, which was not in stock. My husband ordered an entree and main meal only to be informed later that they had no octopus or the main meal that he had chosen. The food was lack luster, my lamb shank was edible but not enjoyable and just warm. My husband meal was not enjoyable for him. The only good review of the food was a guest who had calamari and a side salad. On paying the bill, I checked and the unavailable octopus entree was on the bill. Disappointed Save your money and...
