Hungry Jack's Burgers Renmark — Restaurant in Renmark

I was served quickly - asking for no BBQ sauce - so employee put no sauce or ghee...I had that corrected - another employee came to serve me (why??)- I asked if they still sold the $2 coffees - she didn't know - she had only worked there for a 'few months'- after 10 mins of her fiddling with the till and people queueing - I asked if the manager was in - yes - he was in the kitchen - so I suggested she ask him? This took a minute and the answer was - no - nolonger do sell this - 15 minutes in total for this - 20 mins in store so far - I was given my order ...a bbq breakfast burger no sauce and 2 hash browns. I went back to my car to eat - no serviettes and NO Patty in burger - I went back in - asked the manager if he could see what was missing-? compared to the picture of product- a dumbfounded look and a 'NUP' - I suggested it might be the meat Patty- OH YEAH - I FORGOT - his still looking at me with a blank stare- I would like another one please - 'Ahh - ok' I also asked for a serviette too please- 5 more minutes - another 10 in total - I received another burger in a bag and still not one serviette - I spent 30 minutes in total for one $7 BBQ Breakfast burger and 2 hash browns - NO APOLOGIES - NOT IMPRESSED - Absolutely...

This experience was almost bad enough for me to never go back to hungry jacks again.

Ordered via app, no problems.

After over 30 mins of waiting by counter and still not getting food was asked to write order on a piece of paper because order dropped off board.

A drink had been spilled by staff on counter and was dripping on floor so had to work around this.

Took an hour to get food.

All drinks were wrong. Plain cokes, no frozen for kids, or ices coffee.

One Burger did not have add ons that we paid for. One burger had sauces that we asked to be removed.

Ordered large onion rings and got none.

Chips were cold and tasted stale or like that had been zapped in microwave.

Many people waiting, well under staffed. Workers did their best and were polite but food was not worth the wait. Would have cancelled and walked out if I could have got...

Thanx to the all the staff , Esp the lady of similar age & hair 😉 to me . Sorry darl I forgot all your names lol #Chiari & old age sux , but thanx for goin the extra mile to help with my gas bottle issue & the bloody coffee omg ! banana was great & looking after our needs while we stayed at Plushes for the week & for my 54th birthday . I was born here in Renmark & Adopted . It's certainly changed since I was here last , 1997 ish . There's just sand at the old road house site , the Atkins run in the 1970s , I have connections to them too . Cheers again Mel , Amber & our giant blue stereo trailer #XANADU...
