The Pipers Inn — Restaurant in Rockingham

Update: I have had to abort my attempts to try every bit of food on their menu & beverage at their bar after an employee was incredibly rude to me. I will wait long enough for their disgruntled employees to calm & then return to try the menus again after re-asserting myself.

So far they are nothing special.

I recommend waiting after their staff have mass prepared food ready to be reheated so you can get it fresher. After some of their regulars have dined.

The bar has a limited range & it's cheaper to get the same beverages from a local store.

I still thoroughly enjoy their spiced bag meal. Even though I can make more for less quicker than waiting for it to be prepared by them reheated, semi-fresh or fresh. ... I had a decent priced pint & a scrumptious Spiced Bag meal. The ingredients tasted fresh & spicy. The meal was very well presented & the service is fast & friendly. I'm in the process of trying everything on the menu.

I also enjoy that the people care to leave the venue for smoking to prevent disrupting the dining experience.

The venue has quite a roster of events worth getting involved in over the week. I sometimes can't help but observe the patrons enjoying their experiences as I travel by.

We have dined here on many cheap Tuesdays just myself and partner. The first time was impressive with everything. The second time we both had drastic change in portion of food(not that it wasn’t enough but how about consistency and knowing what to expect). My husband had the chicken curry which was decent amount but this week we decided to bring extra family with us and the same dish was halved in size and this is the large portion meal. I had my daughter come along and recommended the Pimms cocktail which came in a small glass with half the usual amount of fruits after telling her how it comes in the tall glass etc. also had my father and Nana with us who did not appreciate no offer of a normal dining chair instead of a tiny stool. Staff are usually friendly but tonight we were not impressed with the change in everything after telling people how good it was and what to expect. To those who manage this business…. Please be contestant with what you serve because customers expect the same standard as before. We may give the place one more go as we live local but if the same as last Tuesday we will move to another...

A lovely Scottish inspired bar with great specials like $7/pint Tuesdays, food and pensioner specials too. Wheelchair friendly but cramped, park in the underground carpark and wheel through the back of the cinema and turn left, bar is on left hand side and you avoid curbs going through this route. Gets busy, so ring and book a table. Handily located in Syren Street at the end of Rockingham shops, so plenty of parking. Bus stops nearby that come from the local area and Rockingham station. Beers on tap are top quality and always taste like they come from clean taps/pipes. The staff are very friendly and its run efficiently. Toilets always clean. They have top notch live bands, quiz nights & more. The atmosphere is relaxed, safe and fun. It is family friendly during the day and early evening too. A mix of family, 30+ age group and older crowd. Never had a bad night here,...
