Sometimes you don’t want a fancy dinner. You just want a hot, greasy box of comfort, and that’s exactly what My Mate’s Pizza delivered. I ordered their BBQ Chicken Pizza, and honestly? It hit all the marks.

The chicken was juicy and generous — no sad dry pieces here. The cheese was golden, melty, and slightly crispy on top, which I love. And that BBQ sauce? Sweet, smoky, and just sticky enough to make every bite feel indulgent.

The crust had that nice chewy texture around the edges (not too thin, not too doughy), and it held up well even after cooling down a bit — no floppy slices here. 🍕

Also, shout out to the menu — it’s huge! From Aussie classics to kebab-topped pizzas, seafood, and even footlong options… this place is for pizza maximalists. Bonus points for the Coke deals and late-night hours. Perfect for when you’re hungry at 10PM and don’t want to cook.

Hello dear readers, let me tell you of me and my experiences of My Mates!

My Mates lovingly hand craft a delicious pizza, right in front of you if you are in there for a pick up, you watch a master at work, taking a base, and spreading like an artist's fine hand the tomato base, then with the precision of Picasso, they cascade your favourite toppings onto the base. As you watch your wonderful pizza being crafted, you are able to do contemplate the savings you are making.

3 large pizzas, garlic bread and coke, is what my family and I commonly get, and enjoy for brekky and lunch and....well leftovers, LoL's. Who doesn't love cold pizza. Buuuuut, I digress, under $40, I know this is still a blow to some of our budgets, but you can get allot of food for that price, and if you split the costs with mates boom, yummo.

So after all this, you are handed your glorious masterpiece by very friendly staff, that ask you to have a nice day. What could be better I ask you? LoL's

P.S all food in My Mates is halal...

Pizza was ok, but customer service was just an average of not below average The staff member was actually better to deal with than who seemed to be the owner We ordered the combo deal , the owner handed us just the pizza, then when we told him about the rest of the order he didn't trust us and immediately said no, then when we insisted he checked the order and handed us the rest of the comobo, then when we asked for a bag he said: why you want a bag it is not big order you can hold it on hand then his staff member understood the situation and gave us a bag for the other items in the combo deal. The pizza...
