I hate giving bad reviews but this is something that Thai Coconut definitely needs to do something about!

I have come here many times before and everything has always been exceptional, but when we came here for a Father’s Day dinner last night I was APPALLED at the customer service. The food as always was amazing and every other employee we came across was very sweet, but there was this one tall male teen with glasses and curly hair who ruined the entire experience for us.

He was incredibly hostile and rude any time he came across our table, he would roll his eyes anytime we asked for something and had a horrible attitude, no people or customer service skills whatsoever. I don’t think he smiled or looked at us once when talking to us, and he acted like he just didn’t want to be there. He came across as very arrogant and aggressive, and for such a great restaurant I was shocked that they chose to hire someone like him. In all honesty they need to get rid of him, because the way he treated us alone makes us never want to step foot in there again!

I understand it was a busy night but that shouldn’t mean you treat customers with such disrespect. On the odd occasion another employee would come out to give us our food and they were nothing but lovely. It’s sad that this young man’s attitude alone has ruined the entire experience for us, and for others I’m sure too. He is going to ruin business for this great restaurant if they do not do...

I was just wandering around looking for a good Pad Ka Prao, not expecting much—but wow, Thai Coconut absolutely delivered. I ordered delivery and the moment I opened the box, the aroma already made me smile 🥹

The minced meat was perfectly seasoned with that signature hit of chili and basil, and paired with rice and a beautifully crispy fried egg… it was everything I needed after a long day. It was so good I didn’t even want to finish it all in one go—I literally saved half for the next day just so I could experience the joy twice.

That’s how much I loved it! ❤️

Of course, I had to grab a Thai milk tea too (you know the drill), and it was creamy, sweet, and just right—not too sugary, which I really appreciate. Everything about this meal made me feel like I was back on the streets of Bangkok.

I recently visited Thai Coconut and was absolutely blown away by the experience! As someone who hasn't found many good Thai places in Shepparton, this recommendation was a game-changer for me. The flavors were incredibly fresh and tasty, making every bite a delight. I'm thrilled to have found this gem and will definitely recommend them.

The food here is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, offering great value for money. While there was a bit of a wait for our meal, it was well worth it. I did notice that phone orders seemed to be given priority, which is understandable given the high demand. My suggestion would be to perhaps call ahead for quicker service if you're in a hurry.
