So Sando — Restaurant in South Australia

Okay...why do I write reviews? It is very simple to me...it is my way of saying THANKYOU to those who have in some way brightened my day. And, on this particular day, I visited SO SANDO at Kingscote Kangeroo Island. Wow, as you can see from my photos, our breakfast was amazing. So many flavours dancing together on one plate that continued to dance all the way into my belly...😋💃 Thankyou to the young Women who served us. She was dynamite in all her areas of work... great communication, service, and whizzing around keeping a beaut, clean space. And Thanks to the Chef who took the time to come out and ask us how our meals were. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 all round, and I wish you abundant success in all that you do as it is clear from your Service and Food that you give it all your Heart.💖 Oh P.S...forgot...great...

I came here 5 out of the 7 days we stayed in the island, the 2 days I didn’t come was because it was closed lol. Absolutely delicious food.

Every dish has a unique touch, the flavours are beautiful and you can tell they have out a lot of thought and care in developing the menu.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Would advise anyone who comes to KI to visit So Sando and order more than one dish (every day! 🤭) and a cookie on the side. Recommend: If you order the cuban sandwich add a fried egg! If you feel like something fresh, the salmon focaccia won’t disappoint. Vegetarian? Get the Mediterranean sandwich or mushroom b-fast (can’t remember the name if the actual dish) or ask the staff if they can swap meat for...

It's so refreshing to have a prompt convenient food with gumption! Fresh crisp sandwiches overflowing with generous servings, inventive fillings and packed with flavour. You can either eat at a tranquil modernised spot or perfect for on the run. And if that wasn't good enough they have a variety of menu options and unique coffee that is evidently made with care and attention. Not to forget lighter options for the health conscious and a variety of specials that make you jump for your keys or sneakers! Come support unique service with a smile and a small business run by locals...
