29.07.2025 We did go back to dine just to ensure we tried dessert. The limoncello pannacotta was all I hoped it would be gorgeous presentation too. My husband & son raved about their tiramisu. I’ll post more photos. Wish I was going back tonight . I’d have the amatriciana.

27.07.2025 Back again in Stanthorpe to introduce a new couple of friends to Giardinos. It’s always a good night with me swearing I won’t eat so much that I can’t fit in dessert. Failed, so we are returning tonight. The bruschetta was lovely(tonight again I think). Garlic bread irresistible & reason why I can’t fit dessert. Gnocchi that I can’t make is Perfect here. The arancini was a hit. Fritti bit the dust in record time. I’ll just post photos now cuz I’m getting hungry thinking about it😋 We know the cooks here are so great. We come from Brisbane to Stanthorpe to eat here. It’s hard to get a reservation. There were 5 of us starting with the dipping bread & chips. My son avoided the carbs and went for the garlic prawns. All so yummy. I want to know how those Devine Chips are done. About to delve into lasagne. Expensive for the quality. We were offered truffle on our pastas by the waiter, with no mention of any extra cost. Naturally, we assumed it was complimentary. When we received our bill, we were shocked to find a total of $119.60 – including a $14.95 charge each for the truffle.

We went back in to ask about it, and only then were we told “it’s organic and expensive.” Still, there had been no warning beforehand, no mention of cost when offered, and no apology or refund afterward. We understand that truffle is expensive- our issue is- you did not state a price at any stage nor mention it when we paid the bill. If you’d said it was $14.95 per plate from the beginning when you offered- we would’ve said no thank you! Also no wine to have with dinner, it’s BYO only!

We’ve been to plenty of Italian restaurants with far better food and fair pricing — and have never experienced a sneaky charge like this. We won’t...

Extremely bland...like one other user said. The ingredients are there, but the flavor isn't!

I'm not trying to be too critical here, honestly, but I have to say this is probably the least tasty italian food in Stanthorpe at this time, outshined by Lily's, Ana's and honestly even Dominos pizza pasta's....

Which is sad to say because it's the highest priced among all of them!

I don't want your restaurant to fail, I want it to thrive, but please, hire a chef to cook the dishes, stop trying to do it all yourself, just because you cook food it doesn't make you a chef!

That being said, I have a couple of suggestions on how to improve:

The pasta tastes watery, drain it properly and don't rise it after cooking! Salt while cooking the pasta to embed the flavor... Seek culinary...
