Red Rooster Stanthorpe — Restaurant in Stanthorpe

We frequently visit Red Rooster Stanthorpe and generally we have no complaints. Today, 31/3/2818, it was a different story. The guy behind the counter has the personality of a wet sand shoe and his attitude was bordering on rude. I queried the cost of some gravy after he charged $3.50 for a few cubic cms. He first told me that drinks were included, then he changed his mind and said that the two drinks cost $4 and when I asked for a dollar change from a $5 note he said that the price $5. He pushed a receipt in front of me and said have a look at the docket. Went though on a Friday evening placed our order on the app got to drive though window had 3 large meals got to the window and was told by the young girl at the window we had to go to waiting Bay for 2 pieces of chicken it would be 20min without even giving us a suggestion to swap it for something else we had to ask if there was anything to swap it with. Then we went back on the Sunday order 2 large meals was told 8 minute wait on chips that was ok it took 25min to get our order and the chips were cold. Either the staff are not getting trained correctly or they just don't care but we will not be going...

Some of the worst food money can buy. You can literally see the staff simply microwaving your meal to a soggy lukewarm, not to mention that it's just mass produced and frozen garbage to start with. The local supermarkets (IGA and woollies) do a much better roast chicken and they're cheaper - which is just embarrassing as it's their flagship food item. And $8.50 for a "family" chips! That's obscene! That's restaurant prices for trough...
