Great food: Baked potato with bacon, sour cream and coleslaw was very generous and tasted great. The apple slice was the best apple slice I've had anywhere by far. Nice biscuit base (perhaps slightly too thick, but I'm not complaining), fresh tasting apple and a nice bit of double cream on the side. Decaf mocha was alright, but not 'excellent' - the chocolate didn't stir in no matter how hard I tried and so the chocolate aspect wasn't as pronounced as it could have been. Nice staff, though I would have rathered the coffee and cake come at the same time (or just ask us when we want it). Overall I'd definitely be back here if I'm in the...

I saw photos and reviews which I rely on choosing places to go to when traveling.

And Appleseed cafe it was yesterday. We were greeted with a big smile and friendly staff, coffee was to my liking and served beautiful. My partner and I had scones which were fluffy and big, really enjoyed the size taste and texture. We can’t judge the taste of the food but we saw some coming out to other guests and gosh the food looked well portioned and delicious.

We sat outside with our Berner and somewhere was some warm coming through, so sitting outside was slightly more enjoyable. A blanket or two would have been nice

Thanks for having us and...

Nice little spot for lunch in Strathalbyn!

Dropped in on a whim while passing through and we're pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, managing to seat and serve us with minimal fuss on a pretty busy Sunday morning. All smiles and pleasant exchanges, so very welcoming all round 😃

Despite how busy it was we were served really quickly and the food arrived in short order 🍛

Man, the food was really yum, too! We had the salmon Rueben (never heard that combo before but good lord it was good!) and Cubano pickle 🥒 Both outstanding

Nice coffee, too so a really great experience I would highly...

Best coffee in town! Friendly staff and a good variety of food and snacks on offer at reasonable prices. Much of the food is sourced locally. The venue is accessible for wheelchairs via the side door. There are options to sit outside (front and rear of the cafe) and also a large indoor area at the rear of the cafe which would suit groups of around 20 people. The owner Gemma is very supportive of local artists and there is a variety of work available for sale (photos and paintings etc). Also, the toilets are kept clean at all times - the best I've seen anywhere.
