24/7 Pizza — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I’ll start this review by saying that the toppings on the pizzas were rather nice, but given the premium pricing of the pizzas, this is an expectation rather than a compliment. In saying this, I would not recommend this store based on my experience earlier tonight. I’m leaving this review as more of a warning, as judging by other reviews on this page, waiting for a decent response will be a fruitless task.

Firstly, we called the store at 6:10pm on 4/2/24 to order our pizzas and were told that the pizzas would be a 15-20 minute wait, which is a reasonable timeframe. We requested that the orders be made to pick up at 6:45pm, which they had agreed to. The person on the other end of the phone offered us a ‘meal deal’, as we had ordered 3 pizzas and a garlic pizza, and it would be better value to include a 1.25L drink.

We arrived at 6:45pm to see a store with a staff cohort of mostly young teenagers. I definitely understand that a pizza shop is an ideal early job for young people whilst at school, but this looked more like an exercise in expanding profit margins by finding the youngest staff possible to pay their age-defined minimum wage.

We asked to pick up our order, but when I mentioned the order name, all the staff looked around at each other, and we were told that they could not find the order. However, within seconds our order appeared on the till and we paid, but it was apparent that the order had not been made. When I went to get the 1.25L drink included in the deal, I was charged an additional $6. The extra we had paid for the ‘meal deal’ for the drink meant nothing because now the drink was apparently not included.

We sat and waited for the order to be made in-store for 30 minutes, well over the 15-20 minutes we were initially quoted on the phone. After we saw several people who had ordered after our pick up of 6:45pm come and go, I went up to the counter to check on the order again.

I was told by a senior member of staff that they had been calling our order number and name several times over the previous 10 minutes. This was a bald-faced lie, as the 2 of us had been sitting there gazing in disgust for 30 minutes. After I questioned this senior staff member, they were adamant that they had been calling our names. Both of us have customer service backgrounds, and I have never come across a handbook where making out the customer to be an idiot is sound business practice.

Given we waited 30 minutes in the store, we had ample time to see other practices in the store. The biggest shock was to see the young staff member at the front counter being lectured by another senior staff member on selling a customer alcohol, including how to ID the person. Given the young staff member looked lucky to have started high school, this is at least immoral and probably illegal. Given you have to be 18 and have an RSA certificate to serve alcohol, I am sure this is not a practice that the Office of Liquor and Gambling Regulation (OLGR) will take kindly to, even if I assume in good faith that this venue is licensed to serve alcohol. That will be up to them to judge on the submission I have given to the OLGR.

As I said initially, I would not recommend this store. Pick another store until there is solid evidence that they actually listen to...

Unfortunately we cannot give 0 stars!!! 1 Star for trying, but failing. First time coming to this place we made a phone order and the lady who answered could had been Nicer unfortunately she must had a bad day. Pizza WASN’T worth the price very little toppings and very bland. we don’t like dominos at all but dominos would had been so much more tastier we regret coming to this place, being Italian myself this completely shattered my heart if you make a pizza store to sell pizzas give it your heart if not stick to Indian food.

I’m very sorry but that wasn’t me, the lady we spoke to on the phone ordering our pizza was very rude we just assumed she had a bad day this was on Friday our first night in the sunny coast, she had no mannerism at all. We came into the store to pick up our take away pizza the short brown haired girl was going for break she sat down near the front door we arrived around 9:30 to get our pizza it was just coming out the Indian lady was wiping down the bench I assumed she made the pizzas as she was wiping the bench being in hospitality myself I can tell who makes things. I’m sorry you had a bad experience with a different lady but that was not myself nor my partner, I’m just telling you from the heart of for feed back to make more effort into your pizzas, I’ve been a chef for well over a decade now and I’m very passionate about food especially my heritage foods. But I can guarantee the person you talked about with the pepperoni was not myself. We ordered a reef and beef and a chicken, they weren’t the best their was a bout 5 bits of steak as well as little prawns that didn’t have flavour the rest was air bubbles dough that was chewy. Now I have a great recipe for pizza bases if you want it. Take a trip to our local area in Bethania their is such a great pizza store and worth the money try their spring rolls aswell amazing like no other. But I am allowed my opinion on food that I try and I will review it if I think it needs...

The worst service I've ever come across. I should have looked at the other reviews first. Bad service swearing at customers unclean tables bad ingredients and the owner trying to cover everything up. Thank you google reviews. I order online i pay at 5.05pm I go to pickup 3 pizzas. 2 made 1 not. No communication. Just they dont have the ingredients. No spinach no feta at 5.30pm on a weekday. Then im told. "I guess its just too bad" so now have to wait Another 20 minutes while my first 2 pizzas are drying out and cold. Nearly an hour of waiting. This is $60. What a joke. No one in the place older than 17. I make a complaint and presto the owner is calling me on my phone. They couldn't find my number before but now it has magically appeared. Then the owner threatens me with the police. To which i replied please do. I didn't swear or abuse anyone. I did however complain plead with the staff who were disinterested. No abuse. Love to see this video. Seems to be a reoccuring theme in the other complaints. If the owner was serious about providing good service he would be in his shop and not remote controlling 16 and 17 year old kids to give bad service, foul language and lies. Augellos and Bella Venezia make better pizza's. Also why was 24/7 pizza closed at lunchtime...
