What a place! I can't quite work out why Banjo's has a lower rating at the moment! Okay, we only visited once & probably only ever will (sadly), but what an experience we had! We popped here before a long day at Australia Zoo ahead of us, wanting some lighter but tasty food to get us going. What a bakery we found! Banjo's staff & selection of food was amazing as soon as we walked in. It took us quite a while to decide what we wanted, & in the end took a little bit of everything, even a cake each to have later with our evening food. & I can honestly say, & I said this to my partner after eating it, my cake was the BEST cake I have ever eaten! Or to be more specific, the best filled donut I have ever had! But yes, it was that good. Cannot fault the place. Even the coffee - as far as I was aware was not a selling point or anything they rave about - tasted great & not out of place at all!

Located in a shopping centre there is plenty of on-site parking but you may have a little walk as it can be quite busy.
They have a selection of various bakery goods. Fresh bread, hot food & morning tea lines. Some of them looked so good.
I tried the mini sausage roll, party pie & mini quiche and all were quite good, with the sausage roll being quite flavoursome, a nice change from other bakeries.
My only complaint was the lack of bakery flavour variety in the actual pies to buy. Would have liked to try a curry beef, normally a staple in most bakeries.
Plenty of seating available and they weren't very busy at 9.30 on a Monday morning.

Do yourself, your Mother, or any other, the perfect, 'Flavour Saviour Favour' and get a Tasmanian Scallop Pie, immediately! This was the most delicious pie I have ever eaten. My Mother Agrees... We will always make this our favourite choice at this brilliant bakery.
